Removing the bottom shelf on our built in bookshelf today. The previous owner left carpet underneath it and didn’t disclose the termites that had been treated. Now I’ve got to pull up carpet that has been wet and hope there’s not black mold…homeowning is fun.

It’s hard to believe that at one time music was a passion. I feel like over the last 4 years I’ve had that passion beaten out of me. It feels so good to be finding that again. Makes me want to join a band somewhere.

I love watching the voice when John Legend is on. His energy is great when he gets moved by someone. He feels the music so well and it never feels fake.

My former church had a baptism today. One of the students I invested in got baptized and I wanted to celebrate that so I went to the live stream. No sound. Then they had a picture of the baptisms they had and she wasn’t there. But you better believe the pastors son was. Do better

Checking out Banishers for the first time. Sad I’d never heard of it before today.

I’m convinced @Fortnite has stopped caring. They don’t fix the game despite it being broken. I’m just so tired of playing a game that the game itself gets in the way of me enjoying the game.

Loving the new Blitz mode on @Fortnite but the have to fix the badges on split screen. Mid fighting someone and suddenly I can’t see who I’m fighting because it’s giving me a boon or a gun and it takes up the whole screen.

Today is going to be interesting. Just remember that there is one God that is in control. Kings and Kingdoms will all pass away but the God I serve will never.

Remember that there are always 2 sides to the same story. One side gets to say what they want and the other side is often silent unless you ask. The narrative is going to support only one side and may not always be steeped in truth.

Really @Fortnite, you disabled split screen for the live event? Some couples like to play together for events like this so we can share the moment together.

Don’t underestimate anyone. My nephew doesn’t want to play Fortnite with my niece because she’s “not good enough”. So my wife and I stepped in and played trios with her. 2 games and we got a Victory Royale. Then she and my wife played Duos yesterday and they won.

The last month has been heartbreaking as I have transitioned out of my student pastor role from a toxic situation. The psalms have been healing my hurt, calming my soul, and reminding me of Gods goodness.

I’m sorry tired of cars in Fortnite. People that use them are using them as rolling bunkers and aren’t even good when they get out. They just ambush you with lightsabers or the jawa shotgun. Half the time I don’t even have time to respond.

Probably the hardest week of my ministry career and it’s not over until tomorrow. Sometimes the church can be great and sometimes it hurts. But I know God is good and he has a plan.

Sometimes you want to leave a path of scorched Earth, but then you remember that God taught you different.

I need more stories with Detective Cordelia Cupp! The Residence was fantastic and I would love to see another iteration of her in a different case.

My wife gave me the side eye last night when playing Fortnite. I was outlaw cowboy Midas and I said “I’m your Huckleberry” when I pushed someone. She wasn’t impressed.
