Im no student of cricket but I love the history of sport and for Jordan Henderson read Mile Brearley the former England cricket captain . Not a great cricketer , not worthy of his place on ability alone apparently…but coukd get the best out of others . Thats a skill .

I found myself in tbe weird position of agreeing with Troy Deeney yesterday . I resisted the temptation to seek immediate medical attention and ponder what he said . I too believe the Salah era will come to an end next summer and we will not buy a direct replacement .
