Afaik full reinstatement is included in all works contacts but it's never done because DCC doesn't check if it is So not only is it ugly, repairing it properly had been paid for but isn't done

Will the cycle lanes on O'Connell Street, Limerick City, be safe for cyclists to use? When I am in a pedestrian mode in the City Centre; even with my own cyclist's eye, I find myself inadvertently walking on the cycle lane, and unsure of the footpath <> cycle-lane boundaries.
