whats the funniest scene from a show that isn't a sitcom?
@TheCinesthetic Breaking bad
@TheCinesthetic Cousin Greg pouring the lemon Lacroix in the guy’s eye to wash out the wasabi: youtube.com/watch?v=naE4a4…
@TheCinesthetic The Sopranos. Not even close. Funnier than all but one or two actual sitcoms.
@TheCinesthetic the bits in THE WIRE where Stringer Bell tries to get criminals to run by Robert’s Rules of Order slay me every time
@TheCinesthetic 👇🏾from Sopranos
@TheCinesthetic “Do flies fly, do ducks duck are bears bare” David Addison playing the great Bruce Willis as one of the coolest characters on television . . . or maybe it’s the other way around. Enjoy the Moonlighting, Doctor Suess clip from 1987, one of my favorites.
@TheCinesthetic The Fuhrer’s Birthday scene in Mad Men . . . loved when Don Draper spoke in a German accent as it brought a little bit of comedy to a show not not for it’s satire and showed a different side of Don if only for a few brief moments.
I loved the show Suits (which I think they could been grade level better with a few little tweaks, but that’s another tweak . . . tweet . . . post) but I am available for consultation. x.com/ClassicMedia_/… But this awesome intro of Stu Buzzini in the awesome elevator scene with Louis Litt was seriously . . . awesome. Looking forward to seeing the pilot of Suits L.A. with Stephen Amell who played on Arrow (which I never saw, but I was told he played a poor man’s Bruce Wayne).
Hugh Laurie from brilliant tv series HOUSE and he will always be Dr. Gregory House in my eyes. x.com/usmaan139/stat… He is one of the greatest characters in the last 30 years to grace our televisions. Playing the incredibly witty, outside the box genius of a doctor, while sarcastically having absolutely no bedside manner or filter, while being extremely funny, all this while self-medicating. House is definitely one of a kind. I haven’t seen many of Hugh’s other performances yet (which I am being told are greater then House) . . . but that’s just me being skeptical.
THE X-FILES "Alex Trebek" as a Man in Black! The entire episode, "Jose Chung's From Outer Space," is hilarious and was certainly out of the norm for the beloved sci-fi series. Still, the scenes with "Alex Trebek" & "Jesse Ventura" as Men in Black really stood out! We also get to see "Charles Nelson Reilly" as the titular "Jose Chung!" The story was fanciful & took a look at one situation and how it was perceived by many different participants. [Image Credits: Ten Thirteen Productions | 20th Century Fox Television]
Jeremy Piven will always be Ari Gold from HBO’s Entourage, the Hollywood super-agent was such a iconic part throwing his signature temper tantrum’s, which were abrasively loud, full of explicit language, sexist, brutally insulting . . . x.com/ArchewellBaby/… all while also being charming, witty, savagely honest and most of all hilariously funny. He/his non pc tirades were the main reason why I watched the show.
@TheCinesthetic Take your pick from "Pine Barrens"
@TheCinesthetic CASTLE with the very funny Nathan Fillion playing Richard Castle, a murder mystery writer whose muse for his books is the beautiful Stana Katic who played Detective Kate Beckett whom he solves actual tv murders with. Love this scene from the pilot.
@TheCinesthetic The Rock Paper Scissors scene from the first season of Patriot.
@TheCinesthetic All the memeworthy Chernobyl scenes >equivalent of a chest x-ray >3.6 roentgen, not great, not terrible >he's delusional, take him to the infirmary
@TheCinesthetic Better call Saul "Clearly his taste in women is the same as his taste in Lawyers: Only the very best, with just a right amount of dirty"
@TheCinesthetic This goes way back In The Rockford Files there was almost always a scene with Jim arguing with his Dad over some mundane thing.
@TheCinesthetic When Spike barged in on the Anointed One and his crew on Buffy
@TheCinesthetic There’s a lot of good shouts but one clear winner. The Sopranos is a drama but it is such a hilarious show that it is written better than and is funnier than almost all comedies.
@TheCinesthetic This one always cracks me up. 😂 youtu.be/F1Bhl3yjzsQ?si…
@TheCinesthetic Asking Ciri about the mark on Geralt's face. youtube.com/watch?v=qWRiLV…
@TheCinesthetic Devil's Rejects "Do I stutter, b*tch?" youtube.com/watch?v=b5gUU-…
@TheCinesthetic Cloning Vijay is the best comedy scene I have scene
@TheCinesthetic This scene from Office 😂
