Milad-un-Nabi literally means the “birth of the Prophet.” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) was born in Mecca in the year 570 CE, and at the age of 40, he received his first revelation from Allah. Read more: the.ismaili//news/milad-un… #MiladunNabi #Muslim
On Milad-un-Nabi, it is common for Muslims to recite poetry in praise and devotion to him. One example is this Persian qasida, Guzinam Qur’an Ast, composed by Nasir Khusraw, a renowned 11th century Ismaili missionary (da’i), poet, and philosopher. #MiladunNabi
