Therapy session went well today (and the session before that I forgot to post about). I learned a couple techniques for dealing with my anger issues and put them in the images below in the hope that someone may find them useful. 💜 I’ll keep posting these tools as they come. 👍

Today: I begin my hunt for a therapist. I have a place to start (thanks @TheMrScottEvans), so wish me luck. As soon as I find one that fits, I'll update you on my progress and try to share any useful tools I'm given to deal with my anger issues in case they work for others. 🙂

My mom (40+ years on depression meds) told me something that resonated with me and convinced me to seek my own help: "No one calls you weak for having a doctor fix your broken leg. Why should it be any different for a broken brain?" You MADE the strong choice @littlesiha. 💜

I unpacked a lot in therapy today. The main point being: the realization that I've not only been grieving, but that I have survivor's guilt from getting to the hospital soon enough to not die from COVID. I've not been fair to myself and it was a powerful moment.
