On SALT: Thanks to @PolicyEngineUS we can see that families (married w/ at least 1 kid) making $250k or $500k living in NY, NJ, and CA and in the 90th percentile (!) for itemized deductions pay lower taxes under either House or Senate OBBB but with a $30k SALT cap. Link below:

On April 28th, @GovGianforte signed House Bill 337, which reduces the state’s top income rate from 5.9% to 5.4% by 2027. The bill also increases the threshold for the lower income bracket and expands the state’s EITC match to 20% of the federal credit.
