The biggest reasons AI will not replace doctors and nurses in the next 30 years are that over half the population has no interest in using AI for health issues, and hospitals need staff. Anyone saying AI will replace 95% of jobs in 5 years is pipe dreaming.

You can tell which X accounts are taking payments from industry based on how they respond to @CaseyMeansMD being selected as Surgeon General. Industry has a PR budget, and they spend it to discredit opponents. None of these accounts will state they aren't getting paid.

Robot surgeons are like residents in training. They can do the technical part of the operation well if the senior surgeon sets things up for them, and is there to bail them out if complications arise. Robots operating independently are a pipe dream for now.
