Marvel trying to make Captain Marvel into their Superman (complete with self indulgent “fans rallying to the hero” covers) seven years ago was a big mistake, since it made Carol seem like an unlikable spotlight hog to some people. Smart move to drop it, imo.

I was actually a bit skeptical of that new Hulu Modok show, but having read the Modok comic written by the creative team, I’m confident that it’s in good hands. This bit from the latest issue was particularly charming.

Back from my hiatus to tell you to read X-Men legends! It’s a breath of fresh air, and really encapsulates the awesomeness and adrenaline of X-men lore in the early 90s. I haven’t read much from that time but this book makes me want to. Also it’s Summers family centric, nuff said

The Union Issue #1 was pretty good! I’m reading KIB in reading order so this book is the first chronologically after Knull kicks everyone’s asses in New York. Strong start for the series, no spoilers but it doesn’t pull any punches with introducing the threat of the Sybpmbiotes
