So Facebook's Threads seems to be an absolute privacy nightmare. They're not launching in the EU due to GDPR. They are collection health, financial, browsing, location, histories and sensitive data. Who in their right minds is happy to give this info to Facebook?

No Threads app for Ireland or EU, probably because of DPC privacy rules. Threads, based on Instagram, is designed to suck in lots of Insta data. In the EU, Meta isn't allowed do things like that. So it's not launching in EU on Thursday, as it is in US/UK. independent.ie/business/techn…

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.
