In my case it's meant as the reverse with my music. The music, cooking, calligraphy, and other stuff is meant as supplementary to my fictional setting that I've developed. For example, if you know a certain folk song, you'll understand why its quoted in the graphic novel / novel

That's one interesting thing, apparently its a misconception that immigrants would necessarily know their mother tungue. Especially if second generation. ( One MC is meant as first generation. )

Now all stories around ... 2085 A.D. and onward is a little bit different, as it's meant as its own self-contained culture distinct from US culture. But wont come into its own until 2500 A.D.

There is also a chance for anything that actually is autobiographical, I may have to go with a Canadian publisher for that, unless for some reason Japan is a lot more chill than what American Mangaka circles would have you believe.

The concept would be analogous to creating American comics specifically for either: discussing ones personal experience ( not applicable for me ) or aid someone in discussing ( more accurate for me ) their experience as French, italian, or German Americans in the US.

I would have almost would have thought Japan had their own word for Korean comics, distinct from Manga. As I feel like like calling my work "Manhwa for Japanese located Koreans" would make it more clear what I aim, without excluding non Koreans.

I'm trying to imagine how to communicate, even though I'm more of a Manhwaga, the particular oddity is my book is still about France and Japan. I'm not sure how to draw that, without accidentally being insensitive about the Korean border situation. ( Be safe SK friends. )

But the idea isn't that languages shouldn't spread, but rather there is a right and a wrong to spread it. Imperialism is a fairly clear cut wrong way of going about it. The way free and open source is the other extreme, and may not suit all cultures.

I think such a thing is manageable, as long as there is one language of education, and the option to further pursue studies in your mother tungue.

By the way, there are countries that have different languages rather than one united tungue. Switzerland comes to mind specifically, but it's fairly common in Europe. In Suisse, as they call it there, there is French, Italian, German, and Ramansh speaking portion.
