Love it!
@Tokyo_Trev Yeah, it seems great but, I’m wondering what information people will have to provide in order to sign up for an app and who is managing that data…. I cannot imagine having to scan my ID/drivers license to use TikTok.
@Tokyo_Trev I second this, but this is more of a parental issue🤷🏿♂️
@Tokyo_Trev Ok they’ll just lie about their age tho
@Tokyo_Trev Its all cool until you see what they want children to watch instead bruv
@Tokyo_Trev Let's guess, digital ID will be required to enact this reform?
@Tokyo_Trev Idiot You love the government, parenting, your children, and telling you what you can and cannot access and what your children should do and how they should be raised.
@Tokyo_Trev I support, don’t know how he will implement this though
@Tokyo_Trev Please do. Social media is the main cause of brain rot, unrealistic expectations, and pursuit of immediate gratification.

Only one concern. If anyone under lets say 16+ can't access social media. Where/when are they going to have time to develop the level of awareness needed to stay safe online. I believe it was the freedom to experience the internet that help me understand the risks associated with online interactions
@Tokyo_Trev Well done to the Australian government. This makes a lot of sense. With what’s on social media, children should be kept off social media. Children should be children. W for Australia.
@Tokyo_Trev No child should be on any of these social media Your social life is the playground
@Tokyo_Trev Amazing more countries should follow this trend
@Tokyo_Trev No, this is evil. It is up to parents and companies to keep children off social media if they see fit. Not the state. This just makes parents even more pathetic over time.
@Tokyo_Trev Really. I don’t think it’s a government job. Also you already are prohibited to create an account under 13. But if you think you love it what happens when they all of a sudden expand that to everyone. Still gonna support it.
@Tokyo_Trev Great, this ban should be introduced in other countries as well
@Tokyo_Trev Great idea but, would have really bad economic effects in the short term.
Harm of social media to children Children have a very delicate and fickle mind and social media can easily change their thinking and behavior. At a young age, children are unable to differentiate between good and bad and as parents, it is important for you to know that social media also has a bad effect. Social media can have some such negative effects on children: Social media is so big that you cannot control where, when and how the child gets what information. Such situations can lead children to obscene, harmful or graphic websites, which can affect their thinking process.
@Tokyo_Trev If Australia wants to do that it's because they don't want kids getting information anywhere except from government approved sources.
@Tokyo_Trev They should do that here. Maybe some ppl will actually start paying attn to their children.
@Tokyo_Trev So they can actually be children? Is the planet actually healing
@Tokyo_Trev Is Australia doing something right? Kind of sounds like it, but I am hesitant to trust anything their government does.
@Tokyo_Trev As a former child who used social media I agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Tokyo_Trev This is good! Take y’all little asses outside
