The difference between animals and humans is that while animals don't allow the stupid ones to lead them humans do allow the most stupid, the most corrupt and most wicked ones to lead because of religion, ethnicity, poverty and political affiliation. Backwardness is the result.

As long as we allow the president to appoint the INEC chairman, the Immunity clause for the president and governors is not removed as well as allowing states to conduct local government elections, Nigeria will not develop.We are doing wrong things, but expecting good results

Our country Nigeria is sick, very sick, seriously sick and the leaders are not disturbed. Prices of goods and services are skyrocketing daily. A tin of milk is now 700 or 800 naira in some places. Do we have leaders who care for the ordinary citizens? Election times we are known.

Nigeria is the only country in which the leaders promised bringing it's citizens out of poverty by giving them 59k only. If 50k can bring one out of poverty,then almost all Nigerians are rich. It is a funny country.Buhari promised but succeeded in creating more poverty. Funny.

Our legislators instead of amending some sections of the Constitution to remove the Immunity clause and to take the appointment of INEC chairman away from the presidency and give it to an independent body is busy talking about change of national anthem. What a very funny country

Those promising to retire from active politics are just deceiving us. How will they retire when there is still money in the public treasury for them to loot.It is only possible for them to retire if the treasury is completely empty.

Nigeria is a country that believes too much in paper qualification. I know very well that there are people with lower qualifications than professors who can be better INEC chairmen. Out of the several professors, only Nwosu and Jega did good job.Others bungled everything.

In Nigeria,we know the solution to a problem but we prefer doing the wrong thing. For instance,to get free and fair elections,the chairman of INEC should be appointed by a non-partisan independent body and NOT BY the president which makes free and fair elections are mirage.

For Nigeria to progress and develop we need leaders who are righteous,honest,agile and God fearing. No corrupt leader can discipline other corrupt people working with or under him because they are of a piece. This is exactly what we have in Nigeria at federal and state levels.

Why? and what are we hiding in Nigeria? A country that has no steady and regular supply of power. A country that has no good network of roads. A country with no security of life and prosperity. A country with poverty everywhere is a failed state. That's exactly Nigeria.

Why is it that some people can't tweet without insulting Peter Obi or his followers? I see it as rabid injustice. Is it a crime for him to contest for president? It is the constitutional right of everyone to contest for any position irrespective of religion or ethnicity.

The worst thing that has happened to Nigeria is Buhari presidency which has kept the country more backward than the pre-colonial and the pre-independent periods. It may take decades to bring the country on an even keel.

When are we going to hear pleasant and cheering news and stories about Nigerians living in Nigeria? Everyday we only hear millions,billions and trillions stollen or embezzled. All we are doing is to corroborate the British prime minister who described us as fantastically corrupt.
