If anybody knows me, they know that one of my favorite things to do is go out dancing. During the Corona-times, I haven't been able to do this, and for good reasons (keep the people safe). Today I was cheerful dancing while cleaning. #FindTheJoy

Super sad story. Dr Shaniece Wallace, a peds chief resident died 2 days s/p childbirth from complications of preeclampsia. Of note, cardiovascular complications of pregnancy contribute to Black women having 3X the risk of dying of childbirth-related causes compared to White women

If the supreme court removes protections for pre-existing conditions, then we as doctors lose the ability to care for those who are most vulnerable in our society. As healers, our craft is built on a sacred duty to "Primum non nocere". Negligence is harm. #FirstDoNoHarm
