I used to work in higher ed and went through dozens of sexual harassment prevention sessions, because they were required every year. I learned that, as a guy and a manager, you never lay a hand on a female employee for any reason at all. Not a pat on the back, a tap on the shoulder, and god forbid you hug them. You never compliment a woman on the way she smells, looks, dresses, does her hair, or anything at all having to do with her appearance. What you see from Cowherd and Keanu is the exactly correct way to deal with women in close proximity when cameras are around. closed fist, hand visible, so that there is no question where your hand was. This is what the Me Too movement has created for men. Women still like to have their pictures taken as above, but it is terrifying for men when they come in close like that.
