Risk Management is the key to successful trading. Yeah, maybe, combined with a system with an edge. Without the edge, you can have the best RM ever. You'll still blow your account, but over a longer period of time. RM on its own is useless.

People usually say that finding an edge is difficult.. I can go on YT, find a simple strategy with clear rules and with some testing & improvement, i can find an edge. You can agree or disagree, i don't care, i speak from my experience.

You break your plan, you win the trade and now you're happy. That's a huge problem.. Because.. Now you've added energy into a bad habit. Your brain associates breaking rules with winning. That will make you break rules more often and that will keep you a losing trader.
