As a result of our ongoing FOIA suit, the DOJ has produced seven previously undisclosed corporate non-prosecution agreements. You can read them here: corporate-prosecution-registry.com/blog/foia-2021…
What happened today is huge. PACER reform passed the house during last Congress. Now it's headed for a senate vote with a gazillion cosponsors. When this bill passes, it will open up what's probably the biggest paywall in the world.

After 546 days of stalling on our FOIA request, we filed a complaint against the DOJ. We're trying to unearth a list of all the corporate non-prosecution agreements struck by the DOJ since 2009. Thank you UVA Law First Amendment Clinic, @rcfp, and @Public_Citizen!

Four years in the making, today we are announcing a new one-of-a-kind database containing the investment and conflict information for every federal judge. Spanning 17 years, this database was extracted from over 250,000 pages of judicial financial records. free.law/2021/09/28/ann…

In a former life, we worked in Silicon Valley at Gunderson Dettmer. So it's super interesting to see competitor Wilson Sonsini automating the start-up process (see: wsgr.com/en/insights/wi…).
We always enjoy using spaCy (spacy.io) for NLP projects and are really digging prodigy.ai for marking up texts and building machine learning models. So much less time creating datasets and testing ideas out. Super cool.
