@ReallyWow100 We informed London Underground of this action on August 21st and we are, and will remain, available for talks to avert this action, however, @TfL walked out of talks on Wednesday and seem unwilling to schedule any more.

I've never felt so depressed going into work... morale is shot. Work life balance non existent. Asked to do more for less. Turnover is high and everyone else is feeling the same... 2 week AL is week after next, hurry up! 😮‍💨

Tfl putting the cost of RMT demand of a 32 hour week in the “hundreds of millions”. No further talks planned & certainly feels like this #tubestrike is going ahead unless someone steps back or intervenes but difficult to see a way out at the moment.

NEW: More talks today (Wed) to try and avert next week's tube strike that will bring the network to a standstill. One of the sticking points is the 32 hour week. Difficult to see how that can be resolved. New leadership at RMT could see first big walk out. Watch this space.

Imagine telling people a train service is suspended due to signalling faults, to use alternative routes and then being asked why it's suspended and why the trains can't move. Very simple message people can't comprehend. Its like people lose brain cells when using the railway

This idea that strikes just inconvenience the public deliberately is silly. Doctors, teachers, waste collectors, posties, warehouse workers have all striked to fight for better pay and conditions. No one strikes for laughs. Quicker people realise this the better.
