Congratulations to the Volkswagen autoworkers in Tennessee who made history by voting overwhelmingly to join the UAW. Unions are critical to our fight to build an economy where every person, not just the wealthy or well-connected, can thrive. When unions win, all workers win.
There you go again open mouth insert foot. unions are mostly corrupt, and a second form of money laundering for political favors. I speak from experience, living and working both in management and hotel work in Las Vegas Nevada where Local226 is one of the largest and most corrupt unions ever. They sell out their members time and time again, getting them menial raises. and controlled healthcare, all while partnering with the casinos by having the casinos collect their monthly dues from members. See if the union approaches management with something they do not like they negotiate the collection of dues against the union, something the union does not have is the manpower to do this themselves.
@VP Don’t you remember the emissions scandal a few years back it your memory like Joe’s doesn’t go that far back?
@VP Union control of US automakers was instrumental in the success of import car sales from Honda, Nissan, Toyota & Volkswagen in the 70s, causing the financial ruin of Detroit and other factory towns. You’re going to repeat that failure by handing the business to Korea & China
@VP What choices did the UAW and Volkswagen leave them?
@VP Of course they vote to unionize. Work less & get more.
@VP Criminals #VoteThemOut
