As many #abed students get ready to learn in school for the first time in COVID-19 environment, Alberta has detailed guidance on what happens if someone tested positive at school: alberta.ca/returntoschool. Watch @CMOH_Alberta explain:
To help keep students and school staff safe, public health measures include a screening questionnaire. Parents should go through this questionnaire every morning before class to determine if the child can go to school or needs to stay home: alberta.ca/returntoschool

I only recommend children be tested if they have symptoms or pre-existing medical conditions w/symptoms similar to COVID, such as allergies. Book these tests through AHS. Do not go to a participating pharmacy, as these tests are for those with no symptoms & no exposure. (7/9)

Using their creative writing skills combined with their knowledge of insects, students invented their own species of insect! They discussed their physical appearance, habitat, and behaviors! Check out some of these interesting insects! #EntomologyExperts
Thank you to all the Room 8 students who participated in our Talent Show! We saw magic tricks, listened to beautiful singing and piano playing, learned some karate, and much more! Our classroom is so talented and unique! :)
Here is the schedule for picking up student belongings from the school. All students items have been packed up and put in the Gym. Report cards will be sent home online this year.
