Personally I think it's a great idea. I think some structure should be available and a mantra of "do no harm with data" is an important one to adopt with respect to how data is collected, analyzed, and presented. Will that remove shady practices within the DS community?

Thanks Cathy O'Neil @mathbabedotorg and @Cleveland_PL for a great talk on how Big Data can be weaponized against the public! I believe we as individuals should always ask how data is gathered on us and how it can be used against us. Let's all learn to keep low digital footprints
