Coding something for someone is the worst idea ever. Now you're pretty much responsible for maintaining that code, expanding and troubleshooting. Pair programming is a better idea. Then you already have two people who can do all those things.

Why does making API requests from components feel so dirty when using Redux? It would be so much easier, and if the API request result is only for that component, why not?

Being able to pass a Codility test really helps if you are applying for fully remote positions. It's basically only algorithms. Thank god there are some good algorithm courses online.

Nudge is a tool that allows you to unfollow everything on Facebook. It is maybe the best thing I've ever done with my FB account. It completely empties your feed. Then I only follow a few things I actually want to see in my feed. nudgeware.io

We are writing commits like "Fix tests" all the time. But think... this message has absolutely weird meaning, something like "These awful tests are failed again – shut them up". Write commits like "Fix bugs found by tests" or "Update tests to match new requirements".

Has anyone figured out where these damn irregular white spaces come from? I'm just coding in Visual code and BAM! Irregular white space. Why? One of those little annoying things I never have time to figure out.
