Like many, I'm looking for a new home after twitter. Lots of talk about Mastodon, and I can see some appeal, but for me it didn't fit the bill. @TheHIVE_Social however is sounding promising.

Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.

#Parents of twitter, am I missing something? Primary age kids (13 or less) playing #Fortnight seems laughable to me So I'm continually surprised how often it's the game of choice for kids as young as 5 I didn't think myself a wowser, am I really in the minority here?

Ever had one of those days, where you're debugging and the flow COMPLETLY ignores reason? I have effectively broken it down now to: me: writeline(param) App: 1 me: writeline(compare value) App: 0. Me: Great, now does param == compare value App: true, 0. ???????

I've completed bending my mind around the low level updating of #BulkFileRename to encompass all the things it grew to do (as opposed to all the things got added to the scope after release) Now watch as I break everything again by ripping out and replace the primary Grid control

Tiny design detail: nested border radii look really funky if they're the same. To maintain the same curvature, the outer radius = inner radius + padding.
