I made this low-poly train today... or yesterday 😅 using #threejs. Creating models with the default geometries takes effort and lots of spatial calculations - I can only imagine it gets tougher with more complex models... Regardless, it's fulfilling to see it taking shape.

I've had so much to do recently... But I learnt a few things on #threejs today. Grouping objects in a scene & cloning objects. Both are very useful in 3d projects :)

Spinning things around like I know what I'm doing (I do) 😎. First real animation in #ThreeJS—models rotate on all 3 axes, camera orbits and zooms, lights add shadows. It’s all running in real-time with WebGL—no game engine, just *JavaScript*.

I finally began threeJS after procrastinating for a while now. It's exciting, NGL😂. I delved into Blender some years back, but I didn't go so far in it... I became more interested in front-end development, but now it feels interesting and nostalgic to work with 3D again!
