Low per capita is just half the problem, high inequality is the other half. Top 10% of India (corporate+middle class) own >80% of the wealth, i.e., bottom 90% (~1.4B or 140 crore people) have a per capita of only around $450! The bottom 90% has further inequalities within.

Based on my limited observations at parties, here is a ranking of countries with lower conflict between liberal young men and women: 1.Taiwan 2.China 3.South Korea 4.India 5.Japan* *mostly because female workers are nearly non -existent in tech industry.
