#Stillwater update The new access route to Freda Mountain via Alpine Main is now complete. The new access road (ST2100) is located at approximately the 22 mile marker on Stillwater Main. Follow this road to connect with the old Alpine Main on the SE side of Freda Lake.
This holiday weekend, please obey BC fire restrictions and use an abundance of caution with flammables. On back roads, keep to the speed limit and be courteous to fellow drivers, especially on corners and tight stretches. Wishing you safe travels, wherever the road may take you.

Plows are active today on #Bamfield Main and also on Carmanah Main. Winter driving conditions are in effect. Winter snow tires, chains and an emergency travel kit are essential if you plan to travel. Industrial vehicles are also on the road, so be prepared to yield.
