A striking mezzanine retreat that blends rustic charm with contemporary comfort. Featuring a freestanding bath beneath skylights, this serene space is bathed in natural light, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and architectural character.

Good design detailing conveys a message of understanding for what it takes to create a considered space. How does the floor connect to the wall, or the floor run through an opening, for example? These connections are moments: a time to understand the materials and their language.

This image showcases the rear of the property we designed in an Oxfordshire village. The house presents two distinct sides. The public, street-facing elevation is the grander of the two, featuring dressed stone window reveals.

Rural sites more often than not have many key qualities, that when recognised and utilised, help inform the design. This results in a building that naturally settles into place, conveying a connected synergy with the landscape.

We have been working our render engines to compare them against AI inspired solutions. This proposal is for a contemporary incision and extension to an existing Cotswold family house. AI has utilised large dressed stone and very standard openings, visually limiting the scheme.

Standing as a centre piece within a private hamlet lies Firefly Barn, a quintessential Cotswold Barn. Like many Cotswold stone barns, the building stood almost derelict for many decades until our client decided to fulfil a lifelong ambition and develop it.

This image captures a lovely view from the master bedroom window in one of our projects in Oxford. We enjoy bringing a sense of the outdoors in, with expansive views of the garden and outdoor greenery providing a relaxed background to a natural light filled space.

The owners of this four-storey, prime residential property in the North Oxford Conservation Area approached us to create a larger, more contemporary, and family-friendly home. This open-plan space now houses the kitchen, dining area, and playroom.

Oriented to take full advantage of the amazing views, this residential property combines the best of local vernacular architectural styles blended with a modern and contemporary approach. It is filled with interesting design details that our clients absolutely loved.
