GPT-5 Thinking still struggles with impossible problems. Rather than acknowledging limits, the model will hallucinate to solve it. This example is silly, but it's a problem for corporate use, where someone may not know if something is possible.

X is so cooked. Every part of this tweet is wrong. It was re-released in 1,000 theatres because it was still in 300. $210,000/1,300 is a $165 per theatre average. Except it didn’t make $210,000, it made $335,000 for a $250 per theatre average. And not one person noticed.

Weather reporters preferring sunshine does nothing to control the weather. No undecided weather system is going to listen to their preferences. Ending the endorsement is a principled decision. By declining to endorse sunshine over hurricanes, they can move us up the trust scale.
