Harrowing words from a senior emergency medicine doctor showing the despair at not being able to provide the level of care every doctor hopes to for their patients. Every doctor, nurse & HCW can empathise with this right now. Shared w/ permission. Pls RT to get this out there.

Libraries are wonderful! Free tea and coffee, a warm space and exceptionally welcoming staff. A family has come in and the child is translating that her mum would like to try audio books to help her improve her English. The staff member cannot do enough to help. @TraffordCouncil

Recently, at the seaside our daughter spent half an hour trying to skim a stone like her dad. She was almost crying. So frustrated! Eventually she managed it. The look of pride! Today this arrived from our very dear friends, who were with us that day! #BestFriends #NeverGiveUp

Our energy bills went from £116 to £209 from May. Our usage is about £103. I know it’s the summer and I know the bills are going to rise and again. But we are £410.92 in credit. Is it foolish to cancel DD and pay what we owe monthly? I can only reduce DD to £189 @MoneySavingExp

We have just returned from a camping trip in Europe. In Luxembourg we discovered that all public transport is free. Has been since 2020 We caught the train to Luxembourg then hopped on the tram to the city centre. Nationalised since the 1940s. Fabulous!

Today my 10 year old daughter made a tiny breakfast from clay. Just sharing because she has been suffering a lot post lockdown with anxiety and art and craft is her happy place! I am also a bit impressed! #clayart #mindfullness #creativity
