Fine, don’t tell me. I don’t know when I’ll get her back, but she’s doing fine with Peter, Ben and Kaine. *He froze.* ...”what did you just say?”

*May rolled her eyes.* So what did she do to end up here? And how did she get spider powers in the first place? “Classified and she’s a mutant.” *Kaine crossed his arms. He wasn’t about to budge anytime soon.*

Speaking of which....when were you going to tell me she was a criminal? *Kaine paused.* “This is a team for reformed criminals. I had to tell you that?”

Yeah, she’s kinda talkative. She hasn’t shared much else, though. Apparently you’ve been threatening her? *May crossed her arms.* *Kaine huffed.* I did not threaten her. I just ordered her to keep her secrets to herself.

*May landed at the abandoned amusement park that housed a secret government program. She wasn’t the least bit surprised to see Kaine waiting for her outside. He didn’t even let her say hello before launching into it.* “Did you find them? Are they alright?”

*She looked up the address of one of those connections. Taking a steadying breath, May knocked on @_TangledWebs’ door.*

*After a few dead ends, Mayday traveled to Earth 616. It was the most similar to her own and she already had a few connections.*

*Her best chance at finding Darkdevil and Scarlet was with the Web Warriors’ help. May just hoped they weren’t anywhere too crazy.*
