When I have a conversation about cast iron (and I’m embarrassed how often I initiate these conversations 🙄), people often mention biscuits, made from scratch, by a relative. The mantra by the old-time cooks is “keep ingredients as cold as possible & don’t overwork the dough.”

Found this little Wagner 1384 Chef Skillet today. I didn’t even know these existed! At 7-1/2”, it’s like a #3-4. Apparently, pretty rare find. Yes...it went home with me.😎 #VintageCastIron #CastIronCooking #CastIron
