We’ve had official confirmation today that a banned #neonic pesticide will be used on sugar beet in 2023. This is the second year in a row the Government have allowed a banned neonic to be used 💔 (1/4)
It’s also the second year in a row that the Gov’s own scientific experts have advised against using it, due to the risks to bees. Neonics are extremely toxic to bees, and our struggling pollinators need all the help they can get 🐝(2/4)

@WildlifeTrusts Sugar beet doesn’t flower. It’s no danger to bees. Stop spreading misinformation.
