Saying the phrase “let’s take this offline” in a meeting makes you sound cool and modern. It also means let’s stop talking about this and never follow it up.

If everyone is asked to feedback or reflect in a large meeting, wait until the end and just say “I’d like to echo what everyone else has said, I think it’s all really important”

If you ever hear the phrase “working in silos” respond negatively If you hear “matrix working” agree and say something about the way we need to be working #workwords

Starting a comment with “if I can just play devils advocate for a moment…” allows you to then act like a dick and basically insult people. If anyone complains remember to say “that’s not what I think I was just playing devils advocate”

When you’re in a meeting and the chair says “does anyone have any questions” this is great opportunity to say a generic statement, something like “I’d just like to say I think it’s really important that we engage people” It’s not a question but at least a few people will approve
