Guess I'm guilty of treason because I understand cloud physics 🤷♂️. Persistent contrails can last several hours to days if the upper atmosphere is ice supersaturated, allowing ice crystal growth by deposition. Easy to look up a skew-t/humidity chart at flight levels.

if the US doppler radar network was actually a military weapon system to manipulate weather, why would it be available for anyone to view on hundreds of free websites and apps? I dont get the logic here.
Meteorology 101. Nothing weird about this. What ingredients do storms need? Moisture, Lift and Instability. In a moist, unstable environment, a simple outflow boundary can provide all the lift needed for storms to form as seen in this radar animation.
