In Sutherland this morning NSW SES crews attended a flood rescue of a Labrador stuck in floodwaters. Family of bushwalkers saw their dog washed off the weir. SES team paddled over in a raft and rescued the dog for the family. Everyone including the doggo is safe!

We have had a report from our sandbag point at Sunshine Reserve, Geoffrey Rd, Chittaway Point that there were no bags available. The bags have been stored undercover near the door of the community centre. There are stocks still available and a large quantity of sand. #ccstorms

We have placed sand and sandbags at Sunshine Reserve, Geoffrey Rd, Chittaway Point. This is a self service area so bring your own shovel. If the sand or bags are gone please notify us by sending a message on our Facebook page or via this Twitter page. #ccstorms #nswses

Sandbags and sand will be available at Wyong SES for self filling from midday today 7th February 2020. If you require sandbags make your way to Wyong SES at the end of Levitt Street, Wyong. If you wish to assist filling sandbags feel free to drop down and lend a hand. #ccstorms
