It can also look like this. Not all #seagrass restoration is successful. Sometimes this can be addressed by moving the site a few 100m, sometimes it can be because of wider environmental pressures (e.g.💩), and sometimes it can be simply be because of inappropriate site choice.
🤔 What do 'restored' seagrass meadows look like? Well that is a complicated question! It depends on the method used, the system, and on the time since the seeding/transplanting took place. Not all seagrass meadows look the same! BUT after one winter it CAN look like this 👇
