Unless a stock is breaking out of a major level or base, I find it best to avoid the first hour of trading. The open tends to be filled with volatility, once that passes we get a much clearer read on the true direction of moves. Buy the close sell the open some like to say.

I can’t help but feel like I don’t own enough $TSLA considering what I think happens over the next year or so. Why is this stock still over $300? When stocks fail to go lower on endless bad news, it’s smart to pay attention.

Can $ETH pull back? Sure. But this *potential* breakout is a big picture move that has legs. Think $NVDA $MSTR $BTC etc. of 2024. Zoom out to the monthly chart… the monthly chart always tells the bigger story. High often goes higher than most expect. Tom Lee is right.

Overall market thoughts: Pullback? Yes. Top? No. The more I think about it, the more I really think we’re going to enter an AI bubble. Except I believe an AI bubble will be bigger than the internet/dot com bubble. This is not me being bearish saying “it’s a bubble”

Two indirect ways to play earnings: -Buy a few weeks early to try and catch a “pre earnings” run -Buy a sympathy tied to a major report, such as $CRWV ahead of $MSFT and $META This can even be more lucrative, you don’t need to directly bet on the company reporting to profit.

These earnings are insane. To me, this is the first quarter where we’re truly seeing the payoff from aggressive AI spend by mega cap tech reflected in earnings. If you questioned whether all of this AI hoopla, hype, and spend was worth it… The answer is a resounding yes.

Do you want to trade for 2 years or a lifetime? Hitting the occasional home run can be fun and a nice dopamine hit. This app glorifies exhilarating, fast trading. The consistent singles and doubles are what create long term traders… it’s not exciting but it’s sustainable.

It has been a special multi month run… 40% rise in the NASDAQ, 50%+ moves off lows for many high beta names, little to no volatility, and all micro dips bought. IF we’re going to enter more difficult conditions, it’s wise to not press the gas and ruin all the progress
