315,000+ in US dead from covid 15 mil+ lost their health ins. in 1 year 45,000 die annually from no healthcare medicals bills is one of the top causes of bankruptcy As far as I'm concerned we have no choice but to take on this fight for medicare for all now. Moral imperative.

“Bad press” will always be a problem for the #MedicareForAll movement. But despite the press, 88% of Democrats and nearly half of Republicans support it. Imagine what could be achieved if this fight were pushed during a global pandemic in which 15 million lost their insurance?

Bernie's goal was to be "right". Not to be right *and win*. 🔸 When it came time to fight, he prioritized being nice to "my good friend Joe", over fighting for all those small dollar donors he bragged about.

@2comprendre @davidsirota @JoeBiden And yet Bernie managed to vote against Iraq and multiple bloated military budgets. If you are saying Biden follows the crowd but never leads, unless it is to cut SocialSecurity and Medicare, I agree.

Just remember that the #TPP wasn't designed to combat a rival, it was designed, like all the other "free" trade agreements, to shift power further away from workers, consumers, and environmentalists, and toward corporations and banks. Fun metaphor though...

Do not forget Julian #Assange. Or you will lose him. I saw him in Belmarsh prison and his health has deteriorated. Treated worse than a murderer, he is isolated, medicated and denied the tools to fight the bogus charges of a US extradition. I now fear for him. Do not forget him.
