Virgin Mobile has just announced it's giving members in Atlantic Canada 50 GB of extra data this weekend to help keep people connected during Hurricane Fiona. A gesture like this goes a long way to keep people safe during an emergency like this
@_AStetson They waived fees to people calling Ukraine, too. Genuinely impressed with these gestures. I may have to switch from @TELUS, who just keeps gorging itself with nickel and dime-ing Canadians during a financial crisis.

@_AStetson I’m in PEI and I still have no power. Just been charged $50 for Virgin Data overusage above my 10GB. Not true!!! ☹️
@_AStetson What a joke. Sporadic but mostly no data working at all since Friday night.
@_AStetson @VirginPlus This fantastic news, when you have service, we have not had proper service since Friday night!
@_AStetson @koodo help us stay connected 🙏🏽
@_AStetson Bell did it, @Eastlink who knows 🤷🏼♀️
