Probably both scenarios would exist because of economic divides across globe. Rich would always have access to the best of the best of technology eventually leading to drive evolution, but rest of the human population would probably face the latter scenario.

Unpopular opinion: Using AI for designing system architecture is risky. These AI models can act more like cheerleaders and less like critics for your design preferences. They’ll validate your flawed assumptions with confidence, not challenge them with context.
Solo entrepreneurs are realising this much more vividly. Having an in depth knowledge of a technical domain is essential to get the best out of AI tools. And thats why it’s the best time to learn to build software. Just low level coding is not a desirable skill anymore.
