It's hard for me to be impressed with its predatory gacha mechanics—you will never reach the actual power fantasy unless you sink insermountable hours of its weak token grind for a 1% of a 1% chance of upgraded characters. Then there's the weapon power grind; too many walls.

My biggest peeve in #DestinyRising is the fact that heroes are locked to specific weapons....
I didn’t get a review copy but—I kinda expected at least a 85; going to be interesting playing this because the demo showed too much promise.
Based on my 8hrs of playing—he is mostly correct. The game is terribly written all throughout—VO is laughable at best, but it does slightly get better. The biggest factor is the scope of the environmental design and relatively decent boss rush Hack n' Slash pseudo-RPG.

Yang Bing just needs this to succeed so he can take all the criticisms and improve on the next iteration. Lost Soul Aside has potential.
It's hard to admit that Yang Bing's Lost Soul Aside game is terrible—I admire passion projects coming to life. It's a beautiful looking game with decent boss battles and gameplay. It's just....the story, writing and animations during cutscenes are atrocious.

Lol, one thing is immediately clear, the movement animation, writing and story is absolutely WEAK in this game. Looks pretty though.
