Web3 adoption in Africa isn’t led by the tech. It’s led by the community. That was the energy across our two-day X Space at Crypto Bootcamp Community (CBC), where we explored “The Impact of Community in Web3 Adoption in Africa.” And trust us the insights, stories, and takeaways from top Web3 thinkers are too good to miss. 🧵
Day 1 started with @0xemma_ “Community is the backbone of growth.” And we couldn't agree more Tech alone won’t move adoption, people will. Communities give ideas wings.
@Ebunayo08 came in with “Learning together is the shortcut to progress.” Solo moves are fine, but in Web3, a squad that learns together wins together.
@diaryofaweb3gal then said “Community adoption is the heartbeat of Web3.” Facts💯 Without people, code is just code. Communities give life to technology
Day 2 rolled in and @prosper_ayere shared this “Identify your community, find the people aligned with your vision, and give them something to believe in.” Ownership and purpose keep members invested and active.
@VulnautAI came in with Educating people about security keeps them protected. Don’t just give them an app, give them the knowledge. Knowledge always beats tools. Giving someone an app isn’t enough show them how it works, why it matters, and how to use it safely. When people actually get it, they stick around, build, and spread the word....and not get rugged 💀
@kesterbils said Solve a real problem when onboarding Web2 users. People don’t care about your project if it doesn’t benefit them. Impact over hype Anytime. Any day. Always
