Remembered my Dr appt and constantly reminded myself about it until 1hr before Then completely forgot about it until 10min til appt Then got lost in the hospital I am lucky that my office is only a few min from the hospital

That video of a man spraying a homeless person with a hose is one of the most disturbing things I've seen. When we dehumanize the homeless for their poverty we not only create the conditions for them to be hurt, we also equate human-ness with wealth, which is immensely dangerous.

Ppl who are house/bed bound due to chronic illness/disability aren’t enjoying some luxurious vacay. We miss out on a lot & it’s enough w/o being judged but ppl take it personal/think we’re doing it on purpose for some reason 🤔 Yes, my master plan was to miss out on my own life…

I am now going to tell a story from when my mom was a kid. She was adopted by a white family and dealt with a lot growing up. One time, some guy called her a slur to her face and her white older brother beat the shit out of him. I think this consequence should happen more often.
