Labour wants to scrap PIP for those with "lower needs" i.e. scoring 3 or less for each activity. Let’s look at what that means. Need someone to lift you in and out of the shower? = 3 points. Need someone to dress your lower body – to put on your pants and trousers? = 2 points.

We must stop making stuff up and use better descriptions. Saying has an "average effect of 0.4 points increase on a 5 point scale and there is a 4% chance this was random", is maybe not the best sales pitch, but "we found a significant improvement" can literally be meaningless.

The term 'statistically significant' has deceived the public for decades. It's allowed rapacious companies (& others) to claim that drugs (like antidepressants) have 'significant' effects even when such effects are entirely *clinically* meaningless. The term should be buried.
