This is a great example of the web platform taking inspiration from somewhere else in tech (native mobile experiences) and making an idea available in a way that feels appropriate for the web. I'm excited to see the non-SPA implementation and all the creative ways people use it!

Codebases, like most things in our life, trend towards disorder. Entropy increases unless work is done to reduce it. Entropy – the gradual decline to disorder – is what we get by default as we progress.

I would add that all of these behaviors feed into each other. For example: Removing useless tasks will allow you to focus on improving your skill set. Automating is a form of documentation that also improves your skill set. I could go on an on.

In bad orgs, ppl believe the way that they’re doing things is just fine. They can’t even envision alternatives. They imagine that all problems can be fixed by replacing the people "at fault." IMO, the problem is the system, not the ppl. No org has ever improved through blame.

It's really interesting that according to @Wappalyzer one of the top sites using @emberjs happens to be @vuejs forums. Not a dig at either of the frameworks, Just found it interesting.
