Day 96 of #100DaysOfCode I'm part of a club called CUBlueprint, where we create tech solutions for NPOs & Clubs. As VP Projects, I spent the last couple months overseeking a project for a club at Carleton University, last week we finally got it deployed on Netlify ☺️

Day 95 of #100DaysOfCode Finally finished the courses aspect for my Computer Science Masters! Also got the chance to explore DeckGL, and created a geospatial tool (Data Science Course) to look at local tourism within the city of Ottawa, Canada (map.spawns.dev)! 🇨🇦

Day 94 of #100DaysOfCode To help with Job Hunting, I made a resume tailorer application using Streamlit, NLTK, and reportlab. You submit a CV yaml file and I'll automatically find the ideal statements to fit onto a one page resume! It was definitely a fun project to work on!😊

Day 93 of #100DaysOfCode Presenting a paper presentation tomorrow in my NLP class on detecting undertrained tokens in LLMs titled: Fishing for Magikarp: Automatically Detecting Under-trained Tokens in Large Language Models by Sander Land and Max Bartolo 🐟

Day 92 of #100DaysOfCode Working on a term long project for a course on Data Science, using deck gl and map tiler, I've plotted the location of all health centers in Canada (ie. long-term care, hospitals, etc.) ⚕️ The term is going well! 😊

Day 91 of #100DaysOfCode School has started again! 2nd term of my masters, taking courses on Reinforcement learning and Natural Language Processing. Learning about Markov Decision Processes (Bellman Equations) + Topics on Tokenization and Morphology 📗

Day 90 of #100DaysOfCode Finished the base function for my MetaZooa clone (but just bird species). Made in Springboot since Java already has a lot of standard libraries to aid in graph/tree based data structures. Now I just need to make it look prettier! 🌲

Day 89 of #100DaysOfCode The school term is finally over! Just relaxing for the holidays 🎄and working on a personal Spring Boot project. Making a MetaZooa clone, but only for birds 🐦

Day 88 of #100DaysOfCode Presented a couple paper presentations for class this week, one was on a ML framework for EEG seizure detection and another one was on a bug localization replication study Also been playing with Pytorch for an upcoming class project 🔥

Day 87 of #100DaysOfCode Made some nice progress on the lamp effect and now it is animated too!

Day 86 of #100DaysOfCode I've been working on a project for friends and wanted to create a cool css lamp effect, I was having trouble getting it the lamp effect on aceternity to work, so I decided to make my own and explore conic gradients! The next goal is to animate it!💡

Day 85 of #100DaysOfCode Spent the last week doing a long assignment for a Machine Learning Course I'm taking for my Masters. I had to implement logistic regression from scratch with no ML libraries. I am literally drowning in theory and math 😅

Day 84 of #100DaysOfCode I'm giving a quick talk on ML next Monday for a hackathon and working on a Machine Learning project for my Mining Software Repositories class. So I've been spending sometime learning LangChain to help me prepare for those 🙂

Day 83 of #100DaysOfCode Did a paper presentation this week for my Mining Software Repositories class on a paper comparing Jupyter Notebooks with Python Scripts. I started using Canva to make presentations and have to say their templates look beautiful!

Day 82 of #100DaysOfCode Ran a tutorial this week on an Operating Systems course I'm TAing and got a chance to use the Revealjs slides library for my slide deck. Definitely something worth checking out if you are tired of using PowerPoint or Google Slides all the time :)

Day 81 of #100DaysOfCode Just finished the first week of my masters of Computer Science (Data Science) and holy is it tough! The expectations compared to undergrad are much higher. Each class you take requires you to expand on the assignments and to work on a unique project!

Day 80 of #100DaysOfCode I've started school again to complete a masters, I've also spent a bit of time creating a little job board with my friends to help us in our job hunt. Currently it is a static site and we are planning to add a database to it. (DynamoDB? RDS?)

Day 79 of #100DaysOfCode Spent this week applying to jobs and doing OAs (Codesignal and Hirevue) Hirevue is a bit nerve racking since you are placed on a time limit for each video response Online assessments are tough, but I feel like I'm getting better with each one 😊

Day 78 of #100DaysOfCode Created a short story website for my partner's birthday, she loves reading and is the type of person that would live in a library if she could. So I created an application where she is given a new short story to read every day.
