The demon had gone back to his own realm during the absence of his lover, sitting on his throne and seemed rather bored as he rested his chin on one hand and tapped the fingers of his other hand against the armrest of the throne. “At least there is peace.. I have no worries..”

The demon was over the moon after learning that he would be able to return home soon, having placed his trust on a small few who would be regents for when he left his kingdom. He was enthusiastic to commit to his work that needed doing quickly so he could leave even quicker.

The demon had been busy with doing his duties and had overheard that he would be allowed to travel home if he let Judas become regent whilst he was away. Of course he immediately agreed as he now came to trust that Judas would follow what the demon wanted.

Learning how to write was also distracting him from the upset he had about making the pendant crack, though it didn’t stop his mind from wondering and he ended up writing Kamino’s name a few times over before doodling a rather good portrait of the god.

The demon had been able to rest and eat properly, now just sitting in a large library where a lovely servant girl was helping him practice his writing. He was able to read just fine somehow but he had no skill in writing at all and was happy to be learning it.

The demon had been busy quickly learning his part over night, having been forced to stay awake during meeting after meeting. He now had a chance to be a line in his quarters. Alone. Very much alone. He gripped the pendant and sighed. “Is this the reason you are so sickly..?”
