#Exadata question, maybe someone can help: What is the difference between FC_BY_USED and FC_BY_ALLOCATED storage metrics and what could be reason sum of (P)DB_FC_BY_ALLOCATED is significantly lower then FC_BY_ALLOCATED?

Exadata X9 problem: trying to remove virtual switch for single VLAN using vm_maker but it refuses because there are other VLANs using same physical interface. (allegedly there is a bug which might remove then in such case). SR recommendations :)

Even though #OpenLogReplicator did not reach version 1.0 it is being used by customers in production... I have just heard about #Oracle to #Oracle replication with #OpenLogReplcator and #StreamClient (directly with custom target client and no #Kafka)

(Question) Exadata X8M experts: do PMemCache statistics available in V$CELL_GLOBAL view or from cellsrvstat - account only for non-RDMA I/O or to they (somehow) include RDMA as well. I'm also looking for some documentation related to them:

ACFS question: is there any way to prevent permission change during mount by CRS? We need to permanently set "setgid" (chmod g+s) but it is overwritten during every remount. Normally we use setperm to set permission on this level - but it does not support setgid, setuid, etc.

#OpenLogReplicator supports 138 character sets for source #Oracle database and transforms characters to #UTF8 messages in #Kafka. Have I missed supporting some exotic character set which somebody uses? Full list: bersler.com/open-log-repli…
