Episode 3 of The Last of Us (HBO) is a perfect example of how to do a video game adaption. Different mediums will always serve stories in different ways, and rather than duplicating a game-centric portion of story, they re-shapped the narrative into something tv can do better.

In my opinion, this is such a huge compliment to the cinematography of the game. It's been *10* years, and yet these video game cutscenes hold up to modern HBO standards. Say what you will, but that is no small feat.

As Dusk Falls isn't a great video game. But it *is* an amazing interactive story, and I am absolutely here for this cinematic novel format where decisions matter so much that I keep getting anxiety headaches. 10/10, would get headaches again
