Oh wow. I left my school yesterday after 5 years (my first school) and was so upset that my department didn’t even get me a card. I left with no card at all; I don’t know what I’ll feel if it had been 38 years!

Honestly the worst part teaching ICT! They’re getting used to it now though as their Chromebook’s do not have the CAPS key (although yes there’s a shortcut) and are forced to use the Shift key lol

If I want to do a capital letter I turn caps lock on, do the letter and turn it back off again. I never had any idea this was weird until someone at work spotted me doing this and now every one at work calls me "Cappy". I can't be alone in doing this, can I?

Utter lies. It’s #UNFUNDED or at least 89% is and don’t mention support staff. Everyone knows it but the DfE just feel they can go on spreading disinformation. How are school professionals supposed to work with a ministry that will just make stuff up.

Why do I always feel guilty when calling in sick? I know I’m not the only one! I still can’t switch off and keep checking my emails when I know I should be resting 😫 My first sick day this academic year too! #teachersguilt

And ofcourse I tested positive ….. Isolation ends on 24th! LFD - negative this morning Got home and took one today, and it was positive Confirmed by a positive PCR I took last night 🙃

Fun Friday evening. Saw my current year 10 and year 11 students in McDonald’s! Separately 😬🤣 Whilst I was wearing my PJ dress 🥴🥴 good thing I had a denim jacket to cover it bit ahaha. Friends I was with can’t get over how they called me ‘miss’ and said ‘bye miss’ 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤣

Football fans are parading naked in the streets of London and causing utter chaos and destruction. Pride events constantly get attacked for not being ‘kid friendly’ but they get to act like hooligans with little or no police intervention. The hypocrisy and double standards stink.

I wanted to ‘nap’ at 7pm before cooking dinner. Woke up at 8 to tell my flatmate no dinner 🤣 then, fell asleep again & woke up at 9:10pm so txted the boyf to complain I’m tired. Clearly fell asleep before he replied as next thing I know it’s 4:45am. Well what a tiring first day!

Is it just me misreading this or is there a deliberate news blackout? I’m pretty sure the reporting would be different if 4 black men in their 30s were involved in the murder of a 14 year old white boy.

So was randomly stopped by another teacher who told me I have lost weight and that I looked good! I genuinely didn’t expect it as I’ve given up as I seem to not lose the weight (as the scale don’t show it! ) actually made my day 😭 she even asked for my secret 🤣 #weightloss

Year 13’s are not too old for stickers right? 🤣 really proud of him for getting 94/140! He had 70+ from last years PPE. Massive improvement . And yes I can’t count properly as you can see with all the changes 😭🤣
